Ambassador Stages Coup At UN, Issues Long List of Non-Binding Resolutions

This news clip from the Onion highlights the terrifying inevitability of unrestrained tyranny inherent to consensual efforts of international governance like the UN, NAFTA, or the WTO.

It comes via slacktivist, who helpfully draws the connection to the Left Behind multimedia franchise. I recommend the books/movies to anyone who finds herself perplexed by U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East (or elsewhere, I guess).

For those without the benefit of a millenarian upbringing, slactivist's painstaking translation of the Left Behind series from the original Evangelical is essential.
